Baptism class

This week, my 1st grade religion class has been learning about Baptism and Holy Water.  So after everything, even though I was a little sceptical, we acted out a Baptism.  Well, we acted out 7 Baptisms.  Each time, with different children taking on the role of the priest, parents, and godparents.  Wow, they really blew me away with everything.  They were so in to it, and very attentive, and especially the ones who did the role of priest.  They were so cute, and man, I just feel that they took it so seriously and respectfully…I would have loved if any one of those kids would have baptized any of my family members.  They would make wonderful priests.  So, I have decided that I am going to pray for their vocations, and that if God so chooses, they may be called to the priesthood.

The Holy Spirit was truly working, even the most wild of all children “monkey man”  was able to present the role of the priest perfectly, with the utmost respect and reverence.

I hope that they got half as much from this lesson as I did from them.
