The things people get up to

http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=125161&catid=339

People in Ft. Collins were building an experimental aircraft that had a helium balloon on it. It was secured to the ground, or something, with a rope. The couple’s kid, a 6 year old little boy, got into it & pulled the rope loose.

This 6 year old child is floating somewhere over Ft. Collins, in a balloon, with no way down.

It’s described as this: “The aircraft is described by the sheriff’s office as a dome-shaped, 20 foot, 5 foot aircraft covered with foil.”

The FAA has been notified, as well as DIA. At the very least, this could mess up traffic patterns at the airport.

More importantly, how are they going to get this child down safely? The nitwit parents should be, I don’t know. I know they’re panicked, to say the least.

Say a prayer for the little boy’s safe return.
